Sublime Digital demo. Not a real business.

One building, three jobs

A studio at the front, treatment rooms down the hall, and a kitchen that stays open after the six-fifteen class.

Mara Ellison opened Riverhaus in 2023 after a decade teaching reformer in Adelaide. She wanted a slower studio: small classes, good instruction, and somewhere to eat afterwards without getting back in the car.

The building sits on Rivergum Wharf, ten minutes from the bridge. Locals train here, get looked at here, and meet here. Membership covers all of it; the kitchen is open to anyone who walks in.

We are not a chain and we are not a resort. Eight reformers, five treatment rooms, and a short menu written by our nutritionist. That is the whole offer, on purpose.

How the building works

The reformer studio

The studio

Reformer, yoga, strength and mobility, capped small enough that someone corrects your shoulder. First class of the day is a quarter to six.

A treatment room

The rooms

Remedial and relaxation massage, recovery sessions and private consults at the quiet end of the hall. Same building, different pace.

The kitchen pass

The kitchen

Bowls, toast and coffee from half past six. Eat in after class, or take it down to the water. Written by Sophie, not a franchise menu.

What we hold to

  1. Small on purpose

Reformers stay at eight. Strength stays at ten. If a class is full, it is full — we do not add a row of mats at the back.

  2. The week in one place

Train on Tuesday, get the shoulder looked at on Thursday, eat properly in between. Membership is built for that, not for selling extras.

  3. Local first

Murray Bridge is the point, not a satellite of Adelaide. Parking is free off Rivergum Lane. Walk-ins are welcome for the kitchen.

“I was tired of studios that felt like a product. Riverhaus is a building you can use all week — the class, the room, the pass. If that sounds slower than what you are used to, that is the idea.”
